About The Hollies Dental Practice
Our mission is to deliver *pain free dentistry to the people of Dunoon
Every member of the The Hollies Dental Practice team is devoted to ensuring that their skills and knowledge remain at the forefront of dentistry, so we can deliver the best *pain free dentistry in Dunoon.
Many first-time dentistry patients to The Hollies are amazed and reassured by our approach. We often have patients tell us that they have a feeling their previous dental experiences of quick visits for a ‘check-up’ were merely taking a ‘patch-up’ approach to their mouths, which may not be the best solution long-term. Technology and preventive science have come a long way in dentistry.

Jay Whitelaw
I have worked at The Hollies since 2014, first as head receptionist. I was promoted to practice manager in 2018. I have attained two SVQ level 8’s in Dental Management since being in the role.
I moved to Scotland on a whim 23 years ago and have never looked back. I have two grown up children and three rescue dogs so the house is always busy. I love gardening and grow my own fruit and vegetables. I also love camping and regularly pack up our truck on the spur of the moment and go to our favourite place of Glencoe.

Zoe Rumbelow
Hello, my name is Zoe and I am a Treatment Coordinator here at the practice.
I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, where I worked as a teacher for many years. I have also spent many years working in the Hotel Industry and owned two micro businesses which I ran from home.
I moved over to Scotland in 2020, just before Covid and the first lockdown and started work in the Care Sector. I joined the Pain Free Group in July 2024 and love my job as a Treatment Coordinator.
I particularly enjoy working with patients to help them get the information they need to start their smile journey in a non-judgemental, calm environment.
When not working you will find me walking the hills breathing in the beautiful Scottish air.

Rebecca
Rebecca graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Business and Information Management. She started working at the Pain Free Dentistry Group in October 2024. She previously worked in the teaching sector for 17 years, and in the banking sector for 8 years. She has a passion for working with the public and really coming alongside patients and helping them in their journey. Rebecca really enjoys being a Treatment Coordinator, and it’s so rewarding to see the difference top quality dental care can make in the lives of patients.
Rebecca also has 3 wonderful children: twins that are 17, and a 5 year old little girl. Life is always fun! In her spare time she loves to travel – Greece is one of her favourite places in the world to holiday. Rebecca also love baking, with sourdough being a passion! She loves to relax by going for walks, and reading books.
